Hi Carol
ReplyDeleteOverall Score: 13/ 20
- you have some good elements communicated here and there is evidence of planning in the areas you were meant to organise.
- To get higher grades here you are going for depth, details and good presentation.
- Your treatment / concept thoughts are solid but they don't have any pictures or imagery to help us see what you envision. There is no evidence of research for similar movies that inspired your creative choices in those areas.
You have the ability with Mise-en-scene to talk about colour, location, what's in the shots, props, positioning etc, this could have been a really detailed segment.
- Location post needed to have a bit more of a journey documented - what was the 'look' and 'feel' you were going for with setting (showing shots from other movies etc) and what did you end up deciding on. Why? How is your setting / location going to be used as a key aspect of your thriller? How is it incorporated into the story? (thinking about the bridge etc).
also your lighting plan looked good but didn't take into account the 'plan' of how to get that lighting. You were going to be shooting outside during daylight so how did you envision / plan to get shots with shadows accross your actors faces? did you practise lighting at all?
